“Alone” is the story of a young high school athlete, who seems to have it all on the surface, but experiences debilitating panic attacks during quiet moments of his life. Guided by his mother’s wisdom, he goes on a journey to overcome his fear of being alone.

As the Production Designer on this short film, Madeline designed, sourced, implemented, and oversaw a team for set, graphics, and set dressings for all three locations, including a home, a school, and a restaurant. Filling a space to capture the warmth of a family home, turning a catholic pre-school into a believable, public high school, and transforming a restaurant into an upscale Italian dining destination were all major production design feats that brought this film to life.
